Update 11/18/14: I've been on this site long enough to have read most articles, logged lots of exercise, and tracked plenty of food. And yet I still have so much to learn. I seem to get hung up every time I reach a new "low" weight and don't maintain it for long. I think it may be my inability to imagine myself at a healthy weight since I've never really seen it. I'm just grateful to have this site for every time I stumble. I'm always interested in new SparkFriends for the journey, too!

Update 7/29/13: Here we go again! That's all I'm gonna say. ;)

Update 8/1/09: Thanks to all who donated towards my 26.2 mile marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I walked it in 6hrs 18 min. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life!

Wilson is back to a healthy weight now! He's lost 13 pounds. I can't wait to reach my goal now, too!

I have my new rescue dog to thank for getting me exercising again. He's launched a renewed energy and drive for me to get in shape. I just wished it would have launched in the spring when there was plenty of nice weather and sunshine!

I'm so glad to hear you had a fantastic time at the Turkey Trot!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I follow a blogger and marathoner on Instragram @trentvanegas who is from Detroit. I saw all the snowy/frosty pictures of the event he posted and applaud your bravery and dedication! I mostly dislike running, but like the results from the exercise. I am up for training for a 5K event (or two or three) in 2014. Please let me know of any upcoming events you will be participating in. I'd like to register for one and join you!

Just saw your post on my page, made it through the holidays, how about you? It was tough this year but I didn't eat as much as normal and even though I have a cold I am still exercising (just not as hard)
