Update 11/18/14: I've been on this site long enough to have read most articles, logged lots of exercise, and tracked plenty of food. And yet I still have so much to learn. I seem to get hung up every time I reach a new "low" weight and don't maintain it for long. I think it may be my inability to imagine myself at a healthy weight since I've never really seen it. I'm just grateful to have this site for every time I stumble. I'm always interested in new SparkFriends for the journey, too!

Update 7/29/13: Here we go again! That's all I'm gonna say. ;)

Update 8/1/09: Thanks to all who donated towards my 26.2 mile marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I walked it in 6hrs 18 min. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life!

Wilson is back to a healthy weight now! He's lost 13 pounds. I can't wait to reach my goal now, too!

I have my new rescue dog to thank for getting me exercising again. He's launched a renewed energy and drive for me to get in shape. I just wished it would have launched in the spring when there was plenty of nice weather and sunshine!

Hi "SPIFF".....no, we're not leaving the lake. We are currently in Tucson, AZ. We have a home here that we have not been able to sell for the past 6 years. We finally rented it and had to pack everything up and put it in storage. It's been interesting to say the least! We leave to return to our beloved Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday!

I wanted to run Cupid's Underwear Run on 2/15, but the temps have been so frigid, I thought keeping with the theme would not be a good idea for me. It does look like a fun run, though! I found a local one in March and we won't have to run in our underwear. The Royal Oak Lucky Dash is on March 8th - a 5K - and we can bring our dogs!

Sooo cold! I wish I could get on board with enjoying the freezing weather, like you do! I'm getting back into exercising regularly after my holiday indulgence period. It was funny to see the dogs try to dig out the bones beneath the treadmill they had been missed seeing for a couple weeks!

Have fun in the snow and stay warm!
