My Journey
2009:
1/4/09: I am 5'5" and my starting weight is 322. Size 26W/28W/3X
1/10/09- 319 lbs (lost 3)
1/17/09- 315 lbs (lost 4) (this year lost 7) (overall lost 50)
FIRST GOAL MET!!!
1/24/09- 314 lbs (lost 1)(this year lost 8)(overall lost 51)
1/31/09- 317 lbs (gain 3)(this year lost 5)(overall lost 48) I got a 5% star from WW for losing 5% since I started the program.
2/7/09- 319 lbs (gain 2) (this year lost 3)(overall lost 45)
2/14/09- 313-Not going down that road again! Gotta get ready for spring break! (lost 6)(this year lost 9)(overall lost 52)
2/21/09- 310(lost 3)(this year lost 12)(overall lost 55) I got a clapping hands charm for attending WW for 16 weeks.
2/27/09- 307(lost 3)(this year lost 15)(overall lost 58) I got a washer charm for losing 25 lbs since I started the program. I also went to Dillard's to try on spring dresses AND I am now a size 22W/24W/2X
3/7/09- 304 (lost 3) (this year lost 18)(overall lost 61)

Went on spring break in March 2009 and lost control for a whole year after. My weight climbed to 356 by June 8, 2010 which is the day I had bypass surgery. 5 months later I am starting to feel "normal" again, so back to the grind. Surgery was a tool, not a fix all.

12/8/10-6 months post surgery- 275

My Goals:
My first goal is to lose 50 lbs. I am 7 lbs away! My next goal is to get to 299 (just out of the 300 range). I will update my future goals once I have reached the current ones.

August, 2010 I got to 299 after bypass.

Next goal was to get to 275, the weight I was when I first met my husband 19 years ago. I made that goal 12/8/10.

Next goal is to get to 250, the weight I was when I graduated high school 20 years ago.


My Program:
YMCA-cardio and weight training

Saturday- Bicycle-30 mins. Level 2 weight training (18 machines 1 set 12 reps)

Tuesday- Semi-Recumbent Eliptical-30 mins. Level 2 weight training (18 machines 2 sets 12 reps)

Thursday- Octane Trainer- 30 mins. Level 2 weight training (18 machines 3 sets 12 reps)

"Today is yesterday's tomorrow" I didn't know if I was going to see this day today, but God has graced me and I am thankful. So, I am going to "shoot for the moon and if I miss at least I will land among the stars", on this day and every day God grants me to see.

    Hi Spicey

    Just stopped in to see how things are going for you?? from what i read you seem to be doing really GOOD! You can do it, it's all about having faith in ourselves. You will be going on your trip before you know it, one day all us sparks will wake up and say " wow i did it, i can't believe i'm skinny!" I recieved a message from another spark about a month ago, she was saying good bye to everyone she had reached her goal and was thanking everyone for the much needed support she recieved, that is my makes me go awww i was so happy for her, she was skinny and fat it was so nice to see a success story.
    That's the day i am looking forward to, i haven't decided how i will reward myself, unfortunatley i will have to reward myself no else here to reward me. IT WON'T BE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES!!

    I have joined with a personal trainer myslef and am still losing, because of the gym the progress on scale is alot slower, but body mass is good, from Jan22 to Feb 26th i lost 11.4 pounds of body fat , lost 1. 1 /2 in on waist 1/2 in on hips, 2 in on shoulders, 2.3 in on chest, its great but very slow i have my moments of discouragement, my crying episodes lol, and of course the whole it's not working episodes as well, but at the end of the month i am rewarded with some results. The biggest Loser is still my Inspiration!

    ANYWAYS I GUESS I SHOULD STOP BLABBERING AND GO TO BED!!
