Hey Girl just checking in on you. Hope you are starting to feel better and the medicine is helping you. I have a drs appt on friday and im hoping for some answers myself. Not sure they are gonna be ones that i like but we shall see. Keep your head up. Im thinking about you. emoticon

Oh no!!! dont drop out. Even if you arent making healthy choices this week there is always next week. Trust me I didnt make the greatest choices yesterday. I ate two servings at dinner. Then the guys had donuts and cookies laying around the station. And when you are running calls all day and you come back to firefighters eating donuts and cookies from elementary school kids it doesnt help, soooo I caved very easily, there was like no fighting about it.

The more people you have around you the easier it will be to come back and make those healthy choices again when you are ready. Im not sure what kind of health problems you are having, if want to share, feel free, I'll listen. I completely understand how its not easy to make good choices when you feel like poo. I do hope you start feeling better and the meds start to help soon. emoticon emoticon

You say in your profile that you have to lose those 30 lbs. again, but I gently suggest that that is coming from the wrong direction. Before, you quit because you let a weight loss goal unmet derail you. This time, make HABITS your goal. Think of the habits you believe are best for good health; decreasing the processed foods (not trying to go cold turkey or really brutal soon), increasing fresh foods with colorful freggies, eating full meals with little random eating, consistent movement in a combination of vigorous and more moderate, and doing all of these at a rate that doesn't discourage you. It's better to start with small goals and up the ante than go whole hog and burn out. The best diet is the one you don't know you're on. And, for every success story you read of someone who gunned it and got to goal in one streak, there are 32 who didn't. And of the ones who make it, most will gain it back in 2-5 years. Besides, habits are the real insurance of good health, even if there is no weight loss. Get to the point you feel healthy and vital. Then you can tweak if you still want to. emoticon
