My name is Christina Cores. I spent a majority of my life overweight and not comfortable in my own skin. I changed my whole life around. Have you've seen me on the front cover of People magazine's Half Their Size Issue January 2011? I also had the opportunity to be on the Today show and did other interviews and appearances. I'm not only half the size I used to be going from 240lbs to 118lbs, I've claimed my life back and been able to maintain my weight for 5 years! Sparkpeople has been my support in not only getting me through the last stubbron hardest pounds to lose, its helped keep me motivated, which is my secret to maintaining. Sparkpeople gave me the opportunity to share my story with the world. It's an incredible feeling being able to give back and inspire others. I want to continue spreading the spark and sparking lives. I want to continue to give back, and now im trying to find great stories that will keep spreading the spark! If you have a great story you want to share or know any other spark members with success stories please send them my way! I'm looking forward to hearing about your transformations!

My Goals:
My goal is to not only SPARK but to be able to give others the opportunity to share their stories. I'd like to identify successful spark members stories to potentially send them out to the media. I plan on maintaining and sharing my continued success and finding new ways to get others motivated.

My Program:
I aim to work out up to 5 days a week. However some weeks I only get 3 workouts in. I find group fitness classes very enjoyable and energentic. My favorite class is kickboxing based. I'm always open minded to changing my workout routine and trying new workout tips! The staple of my diet is protein. It keeps me full longer and helps repair my muscles in between workouts. Chicken, fruits, vegetables,oatmeal, yogurt, nuts, protein bars, protein shakes, multgrains are my main foods. I also drink lots of water and stay away from juice drinks or empty calorie drinks. I always read labels to determine if the item is something I want to eat.
