40 and Fit - New goals

Well I'm back on and I need help staying motivated to work out. This is my biggest problem. I fall off the daily exercise and then months go by before I get back on. I also struggle with emotional or stress eating.

Update 4/25/11 - So 41 is a month away and I am stronger and have been eating much better since trying to stay away from wheat products about 8 months ago - so I think the no sandwich, no pizza, no chips, no crackers thing is working - I've lost fat but not a bunch ...

I've been keeping up with 2x week strength workout so I just need more walk/jog during the week to burn calories. Went off birth control and gained weight and pimples - going back on this week. Seriously, acne makes me depressed!

I want to play more tennis and I want to improve my serve. Thinking about tennis again - Apr 2011

Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. HEY!!! I just joined a C25K team! I saw that you also want to run a 5k this year...want to do it with me? From afar, of course.
There is an Environmental 5k out here in April and I have been contemplating for a couple of weeks.
Tonight I downloaded the C25k podcasts and will start next week. You should do it with me!!!!
