Maintaining my weight loss for 6 years now

Hi, My name is Michaele 46 years young, a competitive figure skater . I have lost 45 lbs over the time span of a few years which was reallly hard work that I wouldn't give up on. With my passion for figure skating, support from friends and family & using Spark people now since 2008.

Five years over weight has taught me a lot but I will never go back. It's important to move on and make a difference. Work hard on one goal at a time.

I'm losing weight now.
I look and feel lighter today.
I'm enjoying how I'm feeling now.
I love the feeling of making progress.
I love the food that makes me thin.
Losing weight is effortless.
I am going to fit into the next size smaller any minute.
I enjoy being healthy.
I'm making things easy for myself now.
My body is getting stronger, slimmer, and healthier every day.
I feel so thin inside, my outer is just about to catch up.
I love to challenge myself.

Work on getting my core stronger.

Continue to gain confidence remembering that I am worth living my life stronger and with more passion. Set higher goals

New Goals:

Competition season is over this year but I will be training for Adult secontionals again and going to Utah to compete in Nationals this April, along with Darien Open

Signed up a 5k in May then take it from there. Big goal for me is to race in the Bethel firecracker 8K again and try to beat my old time of 44 mins flat in 2001
(Will try my best)







My Program:
My diet is all Clean Eating
I'm a vegetarian now for 5 years
Some raw foods

Adult competitive figure skater. I skate as much as I can plus a 1 hour lesson once a week with the coach
I get in 6 days of exercise in a week

I run or walk as much as I can

Use treadmill for HIT programs or long walks with inclines

Ride mountain bike for fun when the weather is nice here in CT.
Long walks with my girlfriends

Lift weights 3 xs a week
lifting 8-10 lb weights using CATHE or Jackie Warner workouts

I've been a competitive Figure Skater for 11 years now and a runner for 4 straight years but ran off and on before I gained my weight 3 years ago.

Looks like I got in 2,650 minutes or so in May. Not bad but definitely lower than I had hoped. But, new month and new goals, right? RIGHT! So, I am not going for 3,000 this month. It is one day shorter month and I just don't want to over due it right now. So, I am just going to concentrate on doing my best every single day!

So how are things going?
