Spark McKenzie...Are you ready for a change?

I have been on a yo-yo diet/yo-yo exercise for a while and I'm very tired of stoping and starting over and over and never reaching anywhere. I need help with meal portions and losing weight and sticking with it. I have an eating problem and I do not know how to deal with it. I'm going to try sparkpeople and see how it can help me.

My Goals:
My workout began on Mar 3, 2014. My weight loss goal is to reach 126 by June 29, 2015 (as per sparkpeople; my plan is by Mar. 3, 2015). I will work out 6 days a week with one day of rest and eat within my calorie intake.

Start Weight: 196
Mini goal weights:
3 months= 176 (6/3/2014)
6 months= 156 (9/32014)
9 months= 136 (12/2014)
12 months= 126 (3/3/2015)

But secretly aiming for offical goal weight: 116 (15 months - 6/3/2015)


My Program:
Time until? = weight I lose
4 WEEKS = 4 - 8 lbs
8 weeks = 8 - 16 lbs
12 WEEKS = 12 - 24 LBS
16 weeks = 16 - 32 lbs
20 weeks = 20 - 40 lbs
24 WEEKS = 24 - 48 LBS
28 weeks = 28 - 56 lbs
32 weeks = 32 - 64 lbs
36 weeks = 36 - 72 lbs
40 weeks = 40 - 80 lbs
44 weeks = 44 - 88 lbs
48 weeks = 48 = 96 LBS
52 WEEKS = 52 - 104 lbs


Personal Information:
My current BMI is: 36.8 (Obsesity).

Where I need to be on my BMI: 20.8 - 24.0 (Normal)
110lbs - 127 lbs.

Why I want to lose weight:
• I'm 45 years old and I don’t want to suffer from illness like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc in the future.

• I want to feel good about myself and not be depress on how I look (body image).

• To stop hiding behind big or oversize clothes.

• To get involve more seriously with fitness and maybe in the future become a fitness motivator.

• To be able to wear a bikini on the beach and not worry about how fat I look.

• To be healthy, fit and to love myself and my body and be confident.

Portion size is important and better sometimes eat from the children's menu.

Sleep 8 hrs each night

Don't make mountains out of molehills

Steer clear of fad diets and gimmicks etc

Maintain an active lifestyle

Keep emergency snack on hand

Manage stress

Drink water

Wake up exercising

Slow down when eating

Keep your eye on you goals

You are such a good buddy! Yes, I've tracked my food everyday for more than 2 weeks, so I'm super happy about that. And, now that the weather is getting nicer, I've been walking home from work, which is about 35-40 minutes. So, all good! Just would like to add in more Jillian videos. How about you, how are things going?

hey hey...what's happening...yeah, i'm good, how are you? oh man, tell me about it, sometimes there balance can get wonky. if you are eating good, exercising is not good, if exercise is good, eating is not good, listen don't worry, you'll get your mojo back and everything will sync in, just do what you think you need to do, and you'll be sweet.

the main thing is that you are exercising even if food isn't so great right now. you take care now and keep in touch!!

Hey, thanks for checking in with me! I am doing good other than my jeans are just starting to get a little tight. I am starting to eat better and I took the puppy for a mile walk yesterday. I am hoping to get back into my workout routine now it is getting warmer outside. I hope you are having great successes!

Hey! I'm good, how are you? I've been bad with working out this week - need to do 30 Day Shred, day 4 today. It's taken more than a week to get through 4! Brutal! Life gets in the way sometimes - my brother in law is out of town, and my sister is super pregnant (due April 1st) so I've been staying at her house a couple of nights.
