Changing Me

2014 - A new year... I already started losing in the summer. I started on July 1st and really have been focused on me. I have been following Atkin diet. I am at my half way mark and have 45 lbs more to go. I am loving my clothes again and feeling good in my skin. My goal is to lose the next 45 lbs by July 2014.

30 lbs -move to the bigger part of the gym and a new workout outfit.

Stay within my calories.

Regular daily workouts that increase over time.

Thank you for the goodie, and good luck wishes for my interview! That was awesome! :-) I was born in 1972 also! I'm sure that "is" why we both love the 80's. :-) Besides of course that the 80's music just rocks! :-) I use a treadmill, which has seen better days, I also have an eliptical. I have been only doing the treadmill a couple days a week, because of how it's been running, buying a new treadmill in the next week or so! :-) I know it's expensive sometimes to do that, but I have proved that I will use it, I am on month 5 this time around. I used to run on my treadmill every day when I met my now husband 4 years ago. (which is why it's run down now). So, anyway, the money is worth it for me. I go to Proform, and find them when they are on sale and have free shipping. I prefer the treadmill while being "this" overweight, because it's hard on my body outside, and the good treadmills have cushioned tracks. :-) And as you mentioned when it's too cold is hard on my asthma. I also like to just be able to hop on it and run when the urge strikes me, and that may be dark thirty! :-) BUT, I do enjoy running outside when it is warm enough, people tell me the same thing. I want to run 5k's for fundraisers at some point in my life, maybe even marathons. I love running. :-) So, once I get the new treadmill I will be a runnin' fool again, right now, do a lot of Zumba and Biggest Loser Wii, it's pretty well even, 2 of each a week right now.
