My name is SparkieL (Sparkie "L"). I was given that name by a bunch of internet friends a long time ago and it's kind of stuck with me through the years.

I've spent the majority of my life making sure everyone else was taken care of. After the death of my husband, I found out that was my identity too.~The Wife~ The Mom~ The Caregiver. My Goals:
My goals.... Getting my body in the best shape it can be and enjoying the ride while doing it!

My goal for working out is to be able to run 4 miles in less than an hour. I currently walk 6 in 1 hr and 45min. There's a big difference between walking and running stamina wise for me!

My Program:
I love to walk and try to do some form of it every day and I Zumba with friends 4 mornings a week. I refuse to deny myself any type of food, I am working on portion control and doing a little extra in my workouts to permit indulging once in a while.
