I want to lose about 35lbs. and start back to jogging at least 12 miles per week.
I make sensible choices in my foods...try to stay low carb and jog 3 times per week.
I've been married for 12 years and hope to get my husband on a program too. My son has a bit of a weight problem just like his parents but he is getting his under control with sports.
Please check out my myspace page at www.myspace.com/jennmac36 I'm always looking for friends.
Imagine a girl that has been looking at her mom dying for the past few years. She can't do anything about that.
Imagine a girl that saw her first born join the military with a good possibility that he would he shipped overseas to fight for freedom. She can't do anything about that.
Imagine a girl that just had her baby girl, her only daughter fall in love in the past few months move out this weekend. She can't do anything about that.
Imagine a girl that had neck surgery and struggled to get back on her feet only to realize it is a "one step at a time process". She had to wait - there was nothing she could do about that either.
Now - given all of that craziness, she has still managed to drop over 10 pounds, correct her eating habits (most of the time) and actually is becoming a gym rat - not bad for a chick that never stepped foot in a gym right?
That's me! It's called "resolve"... it's called "this is about me this time"... it's called "baby steps"
I pledge that this is about me, on my timetable, my way, at my speed. So I'm not loosing 2 pounds a day - no worries - it is happening as it feels it should.
We would all love to see the BIG numbers - but really, isn't it nice to go at your own pace & not be rushed?
I've come to realize that I CAN do this.. in my time.
This is what it is for you. You've already had the experience & know exactly what you need to do to get it done. For me - it's still a learning process.
So you hang in there - do 3% more this week than you did last week. Review your diet - see what you can honestly give up and not make yourself crazy. Take a hard look at those carbs (my weakness) and see where you can make subtle changes that will work for you but not make you crave other stuff that much more.
This is what we are here for - to help, encourage, push, guide....
Hey girl! Saw that you are feeling yucky today. Hang in there! Remember how you felt before and let that motivate you to keep going. It is tough and I think it goes in cycles. Sometimes you will be high up on a hill doing great, but then you get down in that valley every once in awhile, too. Just remember that you WILL come out of the valley to the top again. Ask God to give you the strength to do so. Hugs to you today!~~Amy
HI sweetie! I just wanted to stop by and give you a squeeze. I know you're feeling yucky today. Just know that someone out here is thinking about you and sending warm fuzzies your way. Hang in there and give yourself a hug ot two.
