    Having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep can cause daytime tiredness, sleepiness and difficulty paying attention at work. Insomnia affects people of all ages. Possible causes of insomnia are:
    • Persistent stress
    • Relationship problems
    • Caffeine and other stimulants
    • Alcohol consumption
    • Shift work or keeping variable hours
    • Inactivity
    • Environmental factors like noise and daylight
    • Depression or anxiety
    • Medical problems like sleep apnea or Restless legs syndrome

    To help you get a good night sleep: Try to keep a regular bedtime schedule, use your bedroom mainly for sleeping, exercise regularly – but not too close to bedtime, avoid caffeine at least six hours before going to bed, avoid large meals close to bedtime, and limit napping to an hour or less.

    Morning Fran, We had a new fire near us so a little smoky outside. I am heading out now, later than normal so leaving my note now. My timer did not go off and i got all interested on something on line. Still cool out so I should be ok. Have a Happy Wednesday.
