I am happy to say that I am finally realizing I am always a work in progress. This time on my journey, I am eating better, exercising, working on my body, my mind and my spirit. It's a 3-pronged approach and the only way that actually works for me. Send me encouragement and good energy! I send you the same!
Improve my bloodwork results, continue to modify my routine to work around obstacles to my health, wellbeing, and weight loss.
My husband and I have started this month making small changes, achievable goals that we can easily accomplish one day at a time. No eating after 8pm, no alcohol, exercise at least three times per week, 20 minutes per session. No meals out except for one time per week, unless we have a work-related or family-related social engagement. Sleep at least 6 hours per night. We are only doing this for one month, and we are close to the end of that month. We will look at our plan and adjust as appropriate and keep on going for next month!
My husband and I are making some changes together so we can work toward living a longer life together. We have two kids and two crazy dogs. We work together at my family's business selling commercial kitchen equipment. I love crafting, spending time with my kids and husband and making jewelry and prayer beads.
My two dogs are the absolute best...we have a Corgi who is the caregiver and protector and we have a Pekingese-Poodle who is all dog..likes to play, likes to get dirty and is very silly. My stepchildren's mother lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007 and now they are with us full time. They are wonderful, well-adjusted children and I am proud to the mom-figure in our house. We are survivors.
