My Goals:
To become more mindful one step at a time.

My Program:
I have set very small achievable goals over a long period of time. I meditate 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. I attend one beginner yoga class per week. I try to attend water aerobics one time per week. I stretch daily. I take my diet one meal at a time. I am paying close attention to my body and what it wants from that I am in my 40's my body seems to be boss of my world (i.e. aches, pains, discomfort, etc.)

Personal Information:
I am married with one daughter from a previous marriage and two step children who live with us full time. My daughter moved with her father across the country from me and unfortunately she no longer wants to talk to me. I fell into depression during the time she was transitioning to leave, and once she left I decided to start taking extra special care of myself in natural ways, better diet, stretching, meditation and prayer.

Other Information:
My two dogs are the absolute best...we have a Corgi who is the caregiver and protector and we have a Pekingese-Poodle who is all dog..likes to play, likes to get dirty and is very silly. My stepchildren's mother lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007 and now they are with us full time. They are wonderful, well-adjusted children and I am proud to the mom-figure in our house. We are survivors.

I started making prayer beads some years ago and have some of my work on ETSY.

How's your day going? Good news I actually am keeping up on my goals and have lost 5 pounds and can see a small difference. Hoping all things are great with you. emoticon
