Welcome to my Spark Page! I am looking forward to making the necessary life changes so that I can be healthy. I know that it is a hard, long road but I am willing to make the effort. I began gaining weight in college and it continued until I had weight loss surgery in February 2008. I am now past the easier weight loss period of this process so it is all up to me now. I am weighing and measuring my food, going to the gym, and doing some activities at home in order to help me be successful. I ...

My Goals:
1. To get a healthier BMI number.
2. To get to an acceptable weight for my height.
3. To continue to weigh, measure and record my food and drink intake.
4. To be able to challenge myself in my workouts / get stronger and tone!

My Program:
I workout at 24 Hour Fitness in Katy on Mason Road (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) in the afternoons. On Wednesdays, I meet my friend downtown at her 24 Hour Fitness gym. It is a nice change from what I usually see each day.

Personal Information:
I am going to be 40 this May and I am not too thrilled about it but I am trying to be optimistic. Sigh!

Other Information:
I love to read books, play World of Warcraft on my computer, workout at a gym, listen to music, dance, get together with close friends, and check out new and interesting places...

Howdy, you remind me so much of another friend who just lost a lot of weight. My friend is a size 6 now and she keeps me motivated, sooner or later I get there too.
