40 something who wants to lose 40 something

I am a 43 year old stay at home mom with one amazing little girl, Gretchen. I am perimenopausal and have been since her birth in 2007 (maybe even before that). I am sick and tired of always feeling sick and tired! I have always been active but my relationship with food has been a tumultuous one.

My Goals:
Initial goal achieved! I lost 52 pounds! My next goal is to lose 8-10 more pounds and lower my BMI to the healthy range (before my June birthday).

My Program:
Weight training 3x/week

Yoga 3x/week

Walking 3-4 miles each day 6x/week

I have been charting my food EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail since the beginning!

Drinking lots of water!

Indulging in special treats to reward my hard work and dedication!

Other Information:
I really enjoy reading and working in the garden.

I love hockey!

I volunteer at a local animal sanctuary. My favorite duty is walking the dogs on the hills and trails.
