Motivation: Staying Fit

SparkPeople has given me the courage to run a half-marathon, and I did it!! On November 11th, I ran 13.1 miles in about 2 hours and 20 minutes. It was tough, but so rewarding!

I am a graduate student working on my masters in teaching. I am student teaching in a fourth grade classroom and I love it, but recently I have lost track of my routines on SparkPeople and have noticed a slight change for the worst. But I am back now!

Hey!! It's been a while!! Congrats on the marathon!!! I recently started a new job, got married, and had my house hit by a tornado. So, needless to say, it's been difficult to stay on track with my weight loss goals!!

Hope everything is going great!

My week is going great. Worked out with my trainer last night, I'm not sore, I feel a little stiff, so I know I'm really going to feel it tomorrow. How about you?

thanks for your comment on my blog...i appreciate you sharing your ideas, that's part of what makes SP great! I use podrunner on my long runs to keep a comfortable cadence...but changing things up sounds like a great suggestion! Good luck on your half-marathon!
