UPDATE: I've been off my plan for a while and have gained a lot of the weight back, to be exact 70 of the 95 pounds lost, but I am refocusing and going back to my healthy ways! I could definitely use encouragement and positive motivation!!!

I have been on a health path since May 28th 2011 I started off at 269 pounds. I have regained my life through healthy eating, exercise, and mindful thinking. I am a new me and I am adding years onto my life as well as allowing myself to have more fulfillment in my life! My heaviest was 277 pounds.

I am starting to use sparkpeople more in hopes that it can bring me even more motivation and I can be positively influenced by other people changing their lives too. Hopefully in time I can help others feel motivated as well!!

I lost 72 pounds in one year!
May 28th, 2011- May 28th, 2012

My world has been transformed by my health journey and I am the happiest I have been in an extremely long time! I move with a lot more ease, I don't get winded walking up steps, I run to my car from a store and my energy level is always higher.

I lost a total of 95 pounds!

8 cups Water
8 to 9 hours of sleep
walking daily
Elliptical and Strength training 3-4 times a week
whole grains
less calories and fat
monitoring nutrition
lots of lean protein
avoid carbs at dinner

Hi Sophie. I am doing good. A little up and down you know how that goes. I have not been on in a while either, I guess that is why I am up and down. But I did loose three pounds from my Thanksgiving gain.....LOL. Hope you are doing well with everything. Have a great day~ Joselyn
