I'm 44 years old. I have a 6 year old and 4 year old twins - my pregnancies were great, but my second pregnancy quite dramatically affected my ability to stay fit - I'm not doing too badly, but I definitely want to get back to my pre-baby weight. Interestingly enough, my clothes don't fit much differently, but I have fat on my abdomen that I'm not used to having. I'm determined to drop this weight! I've invited a bunch of friends to help me to be accountable for my efforts, which is really helping keep me motivated (something I'm having REAL trouble doing on my own right now!).

New quotes to add to my motivation:

Fitness Minutes: 10,886

My Goals:
I have REACHED my goal. So proud and happy to say that al my work has finally paid off. I am now a licensed, working ZUMBA Fitness instructor and loving every minute of it!


My Program:
I'm following the SparkPeople nutrition guide, eating lots of whole grains, fruits and veggies, drinking plenty of water, and getting as much exercise as I can!
I've been doing Zumba once a week at my local Community Centre and I just started a running program. I intend to do a 10K in April and be down 10 pounds (or more) by then!

    Hey Corinne, Thanks for the motivational comment it's great to know someone cares. I know you can do it too. I'm impressed that you're doing that boot camp. I'm not that ambitious yet. If you're looking for a fabulous way to eat for the whole family, that won't feel like a diet, you might want to try the GI Diet for the Family. It's just sensible eating but I love the meal plans and recipes. I'm not tracking my cals, fat, carbs, etc. because the GI Diet is built a little differently. I am still tracking my Fitness which helps keep me on track. I think you already look great Corinne, just think how fabulous you'll look when you reach your goal. Keep it up - you can do it!

    Yep - Rhythm of the Rockies was extremely generous, and are paying for me to come out to be with them for contest. :) I'll be there Fri-Sun. My first regional in a few years actually! Otherwise I wouldn't be going either.
