Hello all! Thanks for visiting my SparkPage.

I just re-read everything I wrote this time last year (pretty much the same dribble, you know, am going to workout - cut back on eating things that are bad for me - blah blah blah), then realize I really fell off the wagon.

Not this time though. Anyone interested in setting up a 'buddy system' or making a 'friendly wager' on pounds lost by a certain time, let me know. I need all the motivation I can get.

I heard something today about ways to keep your resolutions:

1/ Get Inspired - apparently your "goal" has to be something that inspires you. A flat stomach inspires me, especially if it's MY flat stomach.
2/ Get Specific (e.g. - I want to lose 20 lbs by March 9, 2008)
3/ Maintain attention (okay, how can I not maintain attention every time I look in the mirror?)
4/ Be grateful (I'm grateful that I have the ability to do something about it)
5/ Be enthusiastic (go team)
6/ Act from your outcomes (what decisions would I make if I weighed 20 lbs less?)

Here's to bikini's in my (and your) future.

To lose about 20 lbs. so I can fit into my closet full of clothes, wear a bikini by summer and not have a double chin in pictures.

My Program:
I am a procrastinator by nature so in order to stick to something I am going to have to spice it up a bit with a lot of variety.

Good Morning - YES - Actually, there are some wonderful vineyards up in Michigan. I think the best picks are Whites - Dry. HEY.... love that photo of you fly fishing on your page. Looks like my neck of the woods. I'll post a photo of my dog in our yard in my album. Best wishes - Bren
