Happiness Has No Size

I have felt less than for most of my life. Even when I weighed much less than I do now (I fluctuated from a size 8 to 14 in high school), I always felt like I wasn't good enough or accepted. Part of that had to do with the fat girl stigma because I had gained weight while in grade school and was teased even bullied over it. I have done a lot in my life, overcome a lot, accomplished a lot, yet I still struggle with feeling less than, not measuring up to societal standards, and, as a whole, unhappy.

Well I'm tired of being unhappy. And I don't think weight loss will fix it; however, I want to pursue happiness and healthiness at the same time. I want to pursue emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental health and joy.

For the past 8 weeks, I have been going to water aerobics and have lost 15 pounds. I do feel better, but I know with the holidays and my emotional eating, that I also need the help which I've hear this online community can offer.

So here I am.
