    Hi! and thanks for the add. Insulin Resistance is a pain, isn't it?!? the best way to eat for me is having a mostly primal diet. Proteins, veggies, fruits, nuts, some dairy. I eat 100g+ of protein 75-100g fat and under 100g carbs. I steer clear of breads, grains, sugars etc. for the most part... but do eat small portions occasionally. When I get into a good stretch of keeping those things out of my diet... I'm more apt to crave a turkey burger than something sweet!
    Also, my doctor recently referred me to an endocrinologist and he started me on metformin. I've been taking it for a month and a half and it is helping quite a lot.
