The year to get fit and never quit

Have struggled with losing weight for the past four years. I went about it the wrong way and restricting too many calories yes i lost 16 pounds but it all came back plus more. Now its time to do it right. The year to get fit and never quit its about lifestyle changes not just a diet.

Hello and welcome to Sparkpeople.com,

I'm pretty new at this myself, but wanted to let you know that it's o.k. to just jump right in and play, i.e. "click. click. click". It's how I have been learning my way around. So far I have encountered only splendid, encouraging and helpful people. I hope you try isometric exercise, it's perfect for adults with mobility issues, chronic pain, have been sedentary for a while, or who tire easily. Yet even if you're at the top of your game, isometrics can give you the added edge towards meeting your goals, even if that is finishing a triathlon! emoticon
