I am confident, beautiful, talented, but there are many things about myself that I do not like. I struggle with my weight and cannot keep from gaining back everything I lose and work for. Over the last summer I lost 10 lbs - BIG SURPRISE - I gained it back in only a few months when I moved out on my own! I could have lost more, but became distracted when my priorities changed and I put more stress and focus on job searching and adapting to change and a new city.

I need to get back on track and reach my goal! Please help with motivation! I look at this as my last chance to loose weight and get healthy.

I have been dating the same guy for 6 years now. He is attending law school - and we are in the same city for the first time in over 5 years. I am trying my best not to tell him about my weight loss goals and progress, so I will have to blog my heart out! I would like to lose at least 15 lbs before the end of November. We plan getting married soon... and I would like to look my best even before we are engaged (which should happen any minute).

My boyfriend loves me for who I am, and even with the YoYo in weight - he never once said anything. I want to be a complete knock-out for him. And maybe the better I look, the more inclined he will be to get down on one knee... haha

I love meeting new people, traveling, shopping, painting, and reading. I also just became addicted to Guitar Hero and Sing Star Karaoke. If anything relieves my stress... these would do the trick!

My biggest weakness is ice cream and chips with salsa. I am going to try my best to avoid these things at all costs... swimsuit here I come...

My Goals:
I want to get back on track and continue to get to my goal weight. I want to feel like a normal 20-something girl and I want to be happy about my body and get to the point where I am confident to show it off. I want to feel sexy and look great naked!

My Program:
I am trying out what fits me best right now. I plan on doing cardio at least 6 days a week and adding in some strength training. I will keep everyone up to date as I progress...

I am still lost when programs come into play!

I really want a Wii Fit!

    I just wanted to put in my two cents worth and tell you that your weaknesses are LITERALLY my same weaknesses!!! I mean chips and salsa and ice cream = those two are at the top of my list :) I already feel a bond fwith you just from that haha!
    as far as packing a lunch, definitely I would advise to take sunday evening to cook up a largeeee batch of mixed veggies, either frozen or cut up lots of fresh broccoli, carrots, etc, and put them into individual ziploc baggies so you can grab them the morning off--so that takes care of the veggies. I would advise the same for fruit--wash up and cut up your favorites, but fruit doesnt stay good for more than a couple days so I would say do it the night before. Also, for protein, what I do a lot of times is whip up a big batch of chicken salad [costco's kirkland chunky chicken, in a can, very healthy and good protein, plus some pepper, garlic powder, mustard, a little bit of light mayo but only if you want, some celery, and green onions] and then youve got your sandwhich with two pieces of light orowheat bread! also, light yogurt makes for a good protein and calcium in your lunch. ok, just a few tips! :)

    Welcome to the Texas spark team. It is a great group of folks who are all making their way to a healthier life style. The support and fellowship is very inspirational and motivating. There are people from all walks of life, who like you are looking to reach goals and make them lasting. Check out the message boards there are a variety of threads to post on.
    I really enjoyed your page and think the rewards you set up are a great way to reach your shopping spree/goal weight. Being a student is hard work and hectic. Making things more manageable is important. I work nights and pack my lunch. There are some great yogurts out there. I love the yoplait no fat apple turnover flavor. I take these all the time to work. I cook a few chicken breasts ahead of time to pack. They are pretty easy to do in the oven or on the grill. I pack these too, You can do a lot with the chicken make a salad, a sandwich, eat it as is, chicken wraps with a whole wheat tortilla and some low fat/fat free cheese with a little salsa. Also tuna is a great and easy thing to pack. Lots of the cans have the pop open lids, Fruit is a wonderful easy thing to pack as a healthy snack or dessert. There are also some low sodium healthy soups out there that work in a pinch.

    Hi there! I first off just wanted to say that you are beautiful :) I just joined SP a few days ago and it is so wonderful....lots of support, which is a big thing for me. There is so much information is it almost overwhelming, everyday so far I have spent more than a few hours pouring over it and getting myself accostomed! So have fun, you can do it!
