Time to FALL into my Skinny Clothes!

I am confident, beautiful, talented, but there are many things about myself that I do not like. I struggle with my weight and cannot keep from gaining back everything I lose and work for. Over the last summer I lost 10 lbs - BIG SURPRISE - I gained it back in only a few months when I moved out on my own! I could have lost more, but became distracted when my priorities changed and I put more stress and focus on job searching and adapting to change and a new city.


I need to ...

I need to get back on track and reach my goal! Please help with motivation! I look at this as my last chance to loose weight and get healthy.

I have been dating the same guy for 6 years now. He is attending law school - and we are in the same city for the first time in over 5 years. I am trying my best not to tell him about my weight loss goals and progress, so I will have to blog my heart out! I would like to lose at least 15 lbs before the end of November. We plan getting married soon... and I would like to look my best even before we are engaged (which should happen any minute).

My boyfriend loves me for who I am, and even with the YoYo in weight - he never once said anything. I want to be a complete knock-out for him. And maybe the better I look, the more inclined he will be to get down on one knee... haha

I love meeting new people, traveling, shopping, painting, and reading. I also just became addicted to Guitar Hero and Sing Star Karaoke. If anything relieves my stress... these would do the trick!

My biggest weakness is ice cream and chips with salsa. I am going to try my best to avoid these things at all costs... swimsuit here I come...

My Goals:
I want to get back on track and continue to get to my goal weight. I want to feel like a normal 20-something girl and I want to be happy about my body and get to the point where I am confident to show it off. I want to feel sexy and look great naked!

My Program:
I am trying out what fits me best right now. I plan on doing cardio at least 6 days a week and adding in some strength training. I will keep everyone up to date as I progress...

I am still lost when programs come into play!

I really want a Wii Fit!

Sondra welcome to Texas Sparkers!!! That Freshman 15 gets a lot of people, but you are on the right track to get back in control and get down to the weight you'd like. You are a beautful girl and I know you'll reach you goal in no time!!!

We're glad you decided to join our team. We are very TX Friendly here! There is plenty of support and encouragement to go around and be sure to take advantage of all the free resources SP has to offer.

You have a beautiful smile and I have no doubt that you'll be successful in reaching your goals. You seem to have a bright future ahead of you and making it healthier will only benefit you in the long run. Being an active grandmother I can speak from experience. LOL!

BTW, the Resource Center is the best place to find answers to a lot of questions you may have about your new healthy journey, especially packing healthy lunches. It gives great ideas in the nutrition articles. Look 'em up and you'll see.

Thanks for the comment :-) This whole break-up thing isn't going so well yet but I know it will get better. I'm kinda proud of myself for not turning to Ben and Jerry but I think I've pretty much done the opposite :-/ I've barely eaten... I think i need to find a happy medium.
