I love to read, ride horses, laugh, hike in the outdoors, camp out, and be with my husband and our daughters!

My Goals:
To strengthen my lower back-I seriously injured it over 3 years ago and have since had chronic pain. Having my daughter only worsened it and now continuously being out of shape hasn't helped my recovery. I'm ready to strengthen my back and core.

My Program:
I'm just re-starting to work towards losing weight. I am taking it slowly ...trying to really work each habit into a part of my daily routine! I want to improve all over..tone, become healthier, slim down!

Personal Information:
I'm a country girl at heart. I'm from a large family (only girl with 4 brothers). I've always been an easy going person. I'm not a name-brand girl, don't like wearing makeup, and enjoy stopping to smell the roses on a regular basis. :)

Other Information:
I absolutely love to read!! ( and watch movies!)

Are you still active? I left for a full year to have my son, but now I am back! :)

Solvaymae,
Thank you for stopping by my page! Wishing you all the best for your wedding and your future together as a family.
I do not understand how the weight came off altogether, it was in stages over the years. I remember being sick after a trip to Florida. I wasn't able to eat for 10 days straight. I dropped 10lb. The scale hadn't moved in years prior to that. I saw that I was under 220 and that was the fire I needed! Soon after that I had a breast redcution taking me very close to 199.
Thre rest of the weight loss was shear determination, work and fun at the same time. I took a running clase a couple times, entered 5K and recently finished a second half marathon. I hired a trainer for a few months. I really enjoy strength training and at the moment I injured my back, so I am not able to run- very very down about that because I immediately put on 10lb! Killing me that none of my clothes fit right.
I walked today about 3 miles, trying to pull myself out of self pitty. I ate well so far today and if I manage the BBQ right tonight, I hope to see the weight drop in the next couple of weeks. Really hope to have a little weight loss before a big event on the 17th.
Hang in there.
I wish I could go back in time and tell myself: "Hang on, Cindy, the end to this extra weight is closer than you know, you will learn to love running and strength training, you will really make it, I promise! What ever you do keep hope and continue to work at it everyday"!
Best Regards,
Cindy
