I understand the frustration. I am just starting and for someone who is addicted to food for most things I am really struggling but as long as I am doing anything I think it is better than nothing. Hang in there. Don't concentrate on the weight concentrate on finding things you love that will be positive and make you feel good and eventually the rest will follow. 1934 days ago
AZ winters are great, I have to admit. However, the trade-off is the incredibly HOT summers here. So while I don't miss the midwest winters (I raised my family in the Toledo area), there are basic hibernation principals that must be applied to our desert climate. In other words, get outside early (like 5-7 AM) or after dark. You won't envy me when it's July and 112 degrees outside, trust me lol.
I know that it's easy to get in a rut with the climate in your area. The main thing is finding some cardio activities that get your body moving a few times a week, whether it's going to the gym, walking, or even playing a Wii Fit. I really enjoy cardio. My biggest challenge is strength training, but that's another story altogether haha. 1936 days ago
