    GOOD FOR YOU!!! It's great that you're seeing results! It's been a really tough week, and I haven't been able to work out, but I have been making good choices as far as food goes, and I still lost 3 lbs this week! I guess all that strength training really is all it's cracked up to be :)

    I didn't do too well in the calorie department yesterday BUT it was my 20th birthday and I usually give myself one day a week to eat whatever and not feel guilty about it so yesterday was that day...actually I was fine until my boyfriend ruined my workout plans and then bought me ice cream at marble slab...oh well

    I am awful about weighing in every day, I can't help myself. But I do normally record my weight on Saturday or Sunday.

    I know, it's SUPER hard to eat 1200 cals a day, especially at first. Of course I've found that if i eat a salad or some fresh veggies (raw baby carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers and broccoli are my favorites) I don't eat as much of the higher cal stuff, and a cup of fresh veggies is usually less than 40 cals. As far as exercise goes, I LOVE to skate, so every now and then, when it's nice outside, I take my puppy to the park and she runs while I skate. I really love the elliptical and the stationary bike too and I just finished week one of the Couch to 5K program from (tons of people in my Rookie Running Group are on it)--there's nothing that gives you a workout quite like running but you should definitely mix it up to keep it interesting. At first I had a hard time sticking to my workout, but music helps a lot and after a bit you get to a point where you'll love to go workout especially when you're stressed and/or emotional. The trick is balanceing all the school, work and exercise. I strength train 4 days a week and do cardio 4-6 days a week depending on work and school.So what is your routine like?
