How did I lose it? No sugar, no white flour. Did not even have to exercise.

However, now if I want to lose the rest (115 lbs.) I have to start getting motivated to exercise. I need like-minded friends!

Hoping you are living with joy in your heart and peace in your mind. Life is a challenge; however you can have a good day if you move with determination to see each challenge as an opportunity to live better.

The one lucky thing about having a lot of weight to lose is that you can eat quite a bit and still lose weight! That is, if you aren't totally fixated on what the scale says. I encourage you to gradually reduce your eating so that you feel very sure that your plan is reasonable and pleasurable. I've found that it is when I think I'm asking too much of myself that I make excuses for why I can stray from my plan. But when I know I not long ago finished a delicious meal and when I know another great meal is only a few hours away, I can divert myself to the other tasks and pleasures of life. Of course, I can still suffer, but I'm a lot more aware that it is all in my head. emoticon
