Hi, and thanks for reading my blog. Wow, I hope I'm spelling correctly--my eyes can't seem to focus right or see the pink letters on this green background! Anyway, you asked about kale. This is only my second year to grow it. The last time was several years ago, and I remember it kept growing and producing right through the winter! This year I planted 5 or 6 kale starts in March, and they are doing great. I haven't tried juicing it, but we eat it in lots of stuff. It's too tough for salads, and my family wasn't thrilled with straight cooked kale. So mostly I chop it fine and add a couple handfuls to whatever cooked vegetable dish I am making. My daughter loves to bake it into kale "chips." Hope this info helps.
