Thanks for your comment on my New Year's blog - I really liked the idea of the dot calendar myself! AND, I have all green dots since I began, with the exception of Wednesday, when I went out to eat with my BF. I actually made very moderate choices, but I chose to use a yellow dot to remind myself that I cannot eat out all the time! My aim is for a January with mostly green dots! 16 days ago
Thank you for your kind comments on my spark page. I had to just give up! But I was lucky that I live with my sister who has been on this journey with me since July 2008. You can do this, it just takes time, patience and a lot of hard work! With a diet and exercise buddy making small changes in your diet and exercise can make big changes in you. I just got my spark goodie. Thank you! The most important thing about my journey like I said was having a diet and exercise buddy fortunately I live in the same house with Becky and her husband. I swore I would never go hungry and I haven't yet, in almost 8 years. I am not perfect I may overeat at a meal or two but I get back on track within minutes. I track my nutrition and exercise always!!! I have created habits and I am retired big bonus there!!! I can spend a lot of time on spark and do! Besides going to the gym! Becky and I did a lot of walking the local streets here in our village. Even to this day people will stop us on the street and ask us if we are the two ladies that would walk all over the place with Nordic walking sticks. They even tell us how we have inspired them into getting healthier. That is so nice to hear. Baby steps and only do things that you can sustain (I think that is the right word).
