New Year, New Me

I used to be relatively thin and did not have to work at it too hard. I turned forty, had a few injuries/surgeries and now stay home with the kids. I put on weight fast. I want to lose and maintain the weight before it gets out of control.

My Goals:
I would like to lose at least ten pounds. I want to have more energy.

My Program:
I am controlling my portions. This includes no longer eating the uneaten stuff off of my kids plates. I am scheduling my snacks. I will no longer graze all day!
I will get some form of exercise at least five days a week.

I'm doing well!!! Still going strong. I have alot of birthday's to celebrate this weekend. Yesterday the 19th was my boyfriend's B-day...sunday is my dad's 60th B-day and Monday is my boyfriend's mom's 50th b-day! Busy celebrating!!!

Other than that...still working out. Can't wait for warmer weather for more outside activities, but having fun with the indoor ones now!

How are things for you? Are things settling down any yet?
