Welcome to my Spark page.

This past year has been a year of learning, changing, and revelations. I have seen so many things in me that need to change and in my life. I have seen that I need to stop letting my circumstances control me and take my life back, to live a moment by moment pro active life not reactive. Sparkpeople, and my weight loss and journey to the best health I can have is part of it all. I know I can do it, and I know you can too!!!

My Goals:
To make daily lifestyle changes that will result in good health in my body, mind and spirit. This will result in weight loss.




My Program:
Eat whole, real food, nothing processed.

Grain free.
Dairy free.
Sugar free..

Morning stretching.

30 minutes daily cardio walkiing.

Strength training 2 days a week.



Personal Information:
Mom, musician, teacher, dreamer, friend, listener, encourager, loyal, compassionate, perseverer, resilient....never give up.

Born and raised in the Northeast.


Other Information:
I love music, many kinds, listening to it, singing it playing it. It fills my life with joy and ministers to my soul. I love to read books about health and fitness, and I also enjoy historical fiction, and all kinds of biographies, but especially about the lives of missionaries. I love the outdoors, all of God's creation, the mountains, the ocean, and doing anything outdoors. I love camping, hiking, mountain climbing, bird watching, walking, exercising, canoeing, figure skating and travel. I love doing those things with my husband and sons as well!

The Lord and his Word the Bible, are my daily strength and guide. Without Him I can do nothing. He has blessed my life incredibly!!

    I’m Susan and I’m the Motivational Leader of our wonderful Teddy Bear team.

    Whether you are a brand new cub or a seasoned Teddy Bear I want to issue YOU a very warm welcome to our Teddy Bear den! Our aim is to leave no bears behind to hibernate but don’t worry there is always time in the den throughout the day to put your “paws” up and reach out. WE are only as good as our individual members and one of my personal aims is to keep us all together, supported and motivated.

    The den is always open to chat and you will find some bears are chattier than others but don’t be afraid to chime in. If you feel intimidated or overwhelmed PLEASE reach out to me or one of the other leaders. I’ll be posting motivational tips and quotes on a regular basis to help maintain our Bear Spirit....please check them out.

    I hope you get a good nights sleep tonight because we are off on our adventures tomorrow morning.

    Hi!

    Just popping by your page to let you know I'm thinking about you. The in-between challenge, in my mind, is akin to having the little bit of awareness deep within ourselves not to give up. Yes, the holiday season can bring many challenges and many of us tend to overindulge with food and drink. I made shortbread cookies tonight and I ate one....I am not mad at myself for eating that cookie but I'm mighty proud of myself that I stopped at one. Don't deprive yourself but set limits and try to move a little each day!
