My second life begins
Well, this has been some journey. Thank god for Spark People. I turned 44 this year and feel like my life is starting over. I have been given a second chance and I'm grabbing that bull by the horns and riding it for all it's worth! Instead of always knowing their mom as heavy, my children are going to get to remember me as a normal-sized person. I will be able to wear a swimsuit without embarrassment. My Goals:
Goal 1-become a normal-sized person.
Goal 2-Aid anyone else I can who is in health distress on their journey to fitness
Goal 3-Continue to reassure my husband that I love him completely and am not going to leave him when I "get all skinny".
Goal 4-cherish this chance I have been given and live my life for all it's worth!
My Program:
I already exercise a lot so that will remain unchanged. I will add AT LEAST one fruit and one vegetable everyday. I will also cut my sweet intake to one a day.
Personal Information:
I live in Pleasant Hill, Iowa and have been a nurse for 20 years. I currently am a Hospice nurse and absolutely love it after 19 years in an ICU setting. I have a heavy metaphysical background and do energy healings for others. If you are needing a change of energy, sparkmail me and let me know. I might be able to help.
Other Information:
I coach my daughters' soccer team and have for three years. I love animals and have three cats and two dogs. My husband and I recently built on two rooms to our house so now I think I can do anything!
