Ok so 5 months into this and 36 lbs later still going. I am in the best shape I have ever been in, running 3 miles 3 times a week with treadmill workouts 6 days a week, regularly using my bowflex and most of all eating right. Thank you spark people ...

In order to move past your mistakes you have to keep pushing yourself forward. The only person who is still beating you up over what you did is you and it's time to move on. You are not perfect, that's no mystery. But no one else is either. Set a goal today. Hold yourself to a high standard and force yourself to rise to your own expectations. Give yourself an emotional hug and start focusing on the future. You've learned from where you've been.

Major goal this year...run a marathon... just so happens that will be happening on December 6th. I can hardly believe how fast it is coming up and the fact that I am actually going to be able to do it after less than 2 years from the time I started running.

Thanks for the compliment, but I think a bit more work on the treadmill can't hurt...esp since it will help with preventivie osteoperosis and will make me a faster swimmer! lol
