Focus on who you need to be!!!

Starting fresh, and that's how I want to live.

My plan is to live the Nutritarian way, a plant based eating plan eating more nutrient dense foods for optimum health.

I'm getting a rough start to the new year, mouth (dental) issues have side railed me from eating all the fresh raw fruits and veggies, even cooked veggies are a bit too hard unless they are mush. So I have been using it as an excuse to eat all the junk comfort food I can get my hands on.

I am vowing to make better choices given my current restrictions.

I will put in the extra effort to prepare healthy foods in a manner that I can enjoy them and benefit from the bountiful nutrients that they will provide to me.

My Goals:
My main goal is to feel fit and healthy again. I am not set on a certain weight but somewhere around 140. It's been so long since I was near that weight so it will depend on what I will be comfortable at.

My Program:
I have not had pop in over 7 years - I drink water, unsweetened tea or occasionally have 100% fruit juice.

Currently I am eating VERY little meat (as in I'm trying not to eat any). And NO dairy. I'm trying to focus more on beans and legumes and raw nuts and seeds.

As for pasta, bread and rice...Im trying to stay away from them or have the gluten free vegan versions.

I am focusing on high nutrient based veggies, leafy greens, onions, peppers, kale, bok choy etc. Fruits for desserts.

Other Information:
I love animals and nature. And I love gardening both veggies and flowers.

D ecide on an action plan.
E very thing is possible if you believe and work at it.
C onsider your choices carefully.
I nvite others to join you on your quest to become healthy.

Hi there, how's it going today? Its our challenge weigh in, and I've done it already, focusing on my daily challenge, its huge, but I'm not going to opt for the easy way out...! This is for me!

My hubby is worse. He is tiny and eats everything he wants. He is always bringing me treats. Tonight he picked up a Snickers and a Caramello for me. I've already eaten too much and might get into the candy bars soon. Grrrr..
What a battle! I will never give up no matter how long it takes
