Hello world...

(Aug 2009 - Now) Little heavier than the last time I was on here. Feel like I'm in the best shape of my life, but more flabby. Never ending journey! Tracking calories and retraining. I keep relearning how important not snacking is. it's the diet killer. All the exercise in the world won't save you from the late evening boredom binges!

As of today I weigh 193 pounds. My goal is to get into the 170s. This year I'm going to try new things and try to improve myself. I've weighed 190-200 for the last 2 years, it's good to maintain but I find it difficult to push forward.

(2007)
I have been the fat girl my whole life. At 23, I had topped out at 260 pounds. I didn't realize how bad it was, even the doctors would just tell me I was "proportional", which I guess is better than "fat", but I wish now that someone had just told me I need to lose some weight.

My Goals:
My biggest goal with weight loss is just to be able to wear my clothes without having to worry "If I move like this, will something hang out". I'd really like to get into a size 12, because I never have - I was a 14 in 4th grade.

My Program:
I've been on South Beach for over 2 years. It is a lifestyle change, and I really don't eat white bread, potatoes, white sugars, white rice or any processed food, or high fat foods as a part of my regular diet. Yes, anyone can do this.

I change my exercise program all the time. Right now I'm run/walking for 30 minutes 3x/week, and I take a belly dance class once a week (plus practice sessions!). I'm hiking or biking or running on most weekends.
