Hi, I'm on W1D3 of C25K as of today and am struggling too. I currently run @ 4.0 and walk @ 3.5 mph. I feel like my heart is going to explode. Someone suggested that I walk @ 3.0 and that may help. I've been a wimping exercise girl because I feel so out of shape, I don't push myself enough. One week before I started this program I surprised myself and ran a 1/4 mile non-stop. For some reason I don't think that I can do it again -- doesn't make sense! Good luck on C25K - I'm pretty sure this 9 week program will take me much longer - and that's OK. 1951 days ago
Hey, I'm glad your here, and already doing C25K! It took me 2 years to find this team... You asked me about my Half Marathon - and trust me 2 years ago, I would have said that I NEVER would be able to complete one, but I got talked into signing up for a training team, and off I went. It was absolutely amazing for me to realize that YES I COULD finish a Half Marathon (in fact I have now completed 4 of them and have 2 more scheduled for this year)! I'm sure that you can too.
