Sam's Life Change

I'm 31, and I'm trying to change my lifestyle. I'm not happy where I am, and I need to change things.

My Goals:
So the wedding came and went, I lost 20lbs before it, and then once I came back from the honeymoon, never got back into the swing of things. Almost 15 lbs later I realized I was happier before the weight came back, so goal #1 get back to the 184 I was the days got married. Then work towards 150!

Mini Goals:
To be able to run a 5K by the end of October

To actually get off my butt and incorporate strength training in my weekly life.

My Program:
Walk or walk/jog on my lunch break at work. Weekends (kid free) walk with the fiance. Once it warms up. Winter time means working out indoors.

Personal Information:
I live in Fenton, MI. Mother of 2. Married my soulmate October 2012.

Even if its putting your feet up for a few minutes and sipping a hot drink (or cold) and letting your mind just RELAX....I neeeda work on that one (the relax your mind thing)! :D Enjoy your day! emoticon

thanks for the encouragment and positive reminders! I'll keep hanging in there...even when the scale doesn't move like/when I want it too...I feel when I make goals I actually get frustrated more and then self sabatoge...so i almost don't want to make it a goal to lose 8 lbs by a "date"...it puts a pressure on myself that I DON"T need! Thanks for helping me see that :) I think in one way its hard because I LOVE having goals, but when I can't reach them (fast enough or something is hindering me) I get frustrated...or I see others attaining there goals so easily (it seems) and I get discouraged and think I MUST be doing something wrong! lol. SIlly, isn' it! Anyways, I don't know what I was saying in all that...maybe that I need to have a careful balance when it comes to weight loss goals :)
