Hello and thank you for visiting my page!

My name is Samantha. I am 23 years old and I currently weigh 212 pounds. For as long as I can remember, I have always defined myself as a student, using my studies as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted (oh, the stress!) and to put off exercise day after day after day. Well, I graduated from college in May and, instead of feeling proud when I saw my graduation pictures, all I saw was the 40+ pounds I had gained over the past 4 years.

For as long as I can remember, I have always defined myself as a student, using my studies as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted (oh, the stress!) and to put off exercise day after day after day. Well, I graduated from college in May and, instead of feeling proud when I saw my graduation pictures, all I saw was the 40+ pounds I had gained over the past 4 years.

I am now in graduate school and am determined to lose the weight I put on during my previous degree (and then some)! Week by week I am going to learn how to incorporate healthy eating and fitness into my crazy hectic and stressful grad school life and lose weight along the way.

I realize changing my lifestyle and habits will be a challenge, but I know it will be well worth the effort!

If anyone has any tips or advice, they would be greatly appreciated :)
