I wrote that on 4/10/07, when I started on Spark. When I went to that doctor appointment I tipped the scale at 285 - not a number I'm proud of, and one that I disclose here only. I'm 42 now, and I realize that I have to do this to be healthy. I'm now wayyy down from that horrible number and still going, even if it is a little at a time. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Why do you think I'm doing this, my health? actually, YES!!!

My Goals:
To be under 200 pounds - whenever I get there, and never to return!!!!!

To run a mile non-stop - the first and only time I ever did it was when I was 23 - the day before I got into the car accident which led to major weight gain and put me over 200 the first time in my life!

My Program:
Do some kind of exercise only on the days I eat (duh - that's every day!)

Log on to Spark each day to keep my motivation up!

Other Information:
Dear Lord, please do not let the light at the end of the tunnel be a train!!

It is sooooo cool to see my "ticker lady running" more than halfway across the ticker!

Hi there:
I saw your comment on a message board about "if you get a speeding ticket..." It is similar to what INDYGIRL said that really hits home for me: If you get a flat tire, you change it; you don't run around & pop holes in the other 3 tires!!!
