Thanks for commenting on my blog! One advantage of the Spark is you can clip it to your waistband, pocket, or shoe - or even your bra (if you don't wear one, I would think a shirt pocket might work). Some people have even had luck with it in their sock (though I think it might drive me crazy there). I have heard that pedometers don't work for everyone on a waistband, so I think it's great that the Spark has versatility.
Regarding the sugar cravings: I think that we have to limit the "fake" sugar too. My brain doesn't know that it's not real sugar, so it keeps craving that sweet taste! I'm making sure I put a little protein in my body every 3-4 hours. That seems to help. Good luck! I'm putting off buying Halloween candy until the last minute.
