Hi! If you've come here you either know me or you saw something I have said. If it's the former, I'm sorry. If it's the latter..well I won't tell you to run, but you might want to start warming up just in case.
So about me...hmm...
Well I have always been the "Fat Girl" (but I'm DONE now!!), ever since I can remember. I started this thing to loose weight, but it's morphed a bit. Now I want to like myself and be healthy. I am learning how to deal with stress, and figuring out what kind of person I want to be.
Stay tuned to see how things turn out.
Run a mile (at least!!)
Touch my toes with my legs closed
Cross my legs at the knee
Do a situp!
Do a pull up!
Be one of those "crunchy people"
Take a martial arts class
Kick butt! Both my own and other people's!!
Other than that? Um...not sure, when I know I'll put it here!
Right now, I'm just making small changes that will add up to big ones. So for now, I'm not eating out at all, and I'm incorporating more leafy veggies into my diet.
Oh, and I'm getting some sort of exercise every day, even if it's not in a gym.
I'm a 4th generation Texan, living in the Dallas area.
I'm somewhat of a nerd, but in a good way I think.
I garden, watch Scifi, hang out on sparkpeople, work, work out (sporadically, but getting better), cook, play with the dog, meditate (sortof), flirt with running...hmm..idk what else....
No matter how slow you are, you're still faster than the person on the couch.
