Want to say "Thank You" for the pedometer you gave me. I do use one on a regular basis to track my daily steps and try to keep with the 10,000 club. Also good to see other Vets on here doing this too! Nice not to be alone. thanks, Briteyes2012

We have had weather warnings all week about the BIG freeze that would be here for this weekend.
IT arrived, and IT is awful.
Went to church this morning dressed up like an Eskimo, and left my gloves, and scarf on AND took a blanket with. Melissa and I draped it over our legs. It was a good service but we were still cold. The wind was whistling outside. Brrrr. Anyway we got home from church only to find that this freezing weather had burst my geyser! Water, Water, everywhere! So, freezing or not, I had to mop up PLENTY of water, lol. NOT so fun! Wonder if that count towards exercise?
If you got nothing to do in 13.5 hours time, be sure to watch the rest of the men's final at the Roland Garos French Open in Paris. Rain suspended play! How sad is that??? Tomorrow I will be at work so pretty minimal chance of me watching it live. HOWEVER, than goodness we CAN record, so after gym and dinner, I will settle down to watch it, while I knit. Took my Mom shopping of Saturday and bought wool. Nothing like keeping your fingers warm in this weather, AND I need a jersey!
Sorty for not being here that much lately. Been preoccupied with other things and have lost focus on my road to a healthy lifestyle. Haven't gone back to wearing larger clothes yet, thank God for that. But I do need to get my butt back into gear and pay closer attention to what I'm eating and get back into walking more. Got to get back into the walking 6 miles a day mode.
