Thank you for spending the time to read my blog - I think having just put that blog together - the first time I have actually put the developing story together like that and now the penny has dropped - and I am beginning to realise what I have done!! So - I'm just a bit slow in the uptake!! LOL!! However it has proved one thing to me – that if I can do it anyone can do it and you will find that the results are way beyond your wildest dreams!!

Hi, Ya the hand weights add a whole new element to the free step. Just be sure you don't over do it if you try it. What I do is... every other 100 steps lift my weights, doing biceps curls, triceps, and shoulder presses. Lifting on the one/up count. The 100 steps in between I just swing my arms naturally while holding the weights. For example 100-200 bicep curls 200-300 hold 300-400 shoulder press 400-500 hold 500-600 tricep press and so on... definately gets the heart rate up. Oh, I can usually get in 4-5 sets each of about 25 reps. The 200 crunches aren't really that bad. I just lift up enough to contract my abs without letting my back take over. And take breaks.
