My program includes tracking my nutrition and fitness. It also includes using the First Place for Health Bible study series to keep me grounded in G-d's Word and focused on my goals.

I love Doctor Who, Star Trek, and The X Files.

The road to health is so important whether it is physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. When we are healthy or unhealthy in one area, we feel the same effect in the others. Balance is key in everything we do. Without balance, our life is tossed to and fro from one storm to the next. Be good to yourself and remember that your body is a temple. emoticon

Hi, welcome to Sparkpeople..I hope you enjoy this website as much as I do. I have gotten so much out of it. I have met some wonderful folks on this website.
The website can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but don't give up.(All the advertising can feel distracting, but it keeps the website free for all of us. Just ignore it if you want.) Explore a little at a time.
Scroll through other member pages, if you see anyone you would like to have as a spark friend, just click the little button at the top and that will add them to your friend list.
If you are confused, ask questions on the Messages Boards, under the Get Help section.
You might want to join a few teams that interest you and check their message boards daily. Scroll through other Sparkpeople’s pages to see what teams they joined. You can always withdraw from the team if you find it really doesn't interest you. It can take a little bit of time to get used to the website, don't give up.
Under the Message Boards tab, check out Sparkpeople Café and the Sparkpeople Game Room. There are a lot of fun running posts on these message boards.
Check your Sparkpoint page and see where you can earn more points. It’s fun to use the points to buy and give the ‘goodies’ to yourself or to other sparkpeople.
Be kind to yourself. Take it one day at a time. Expect set backs and just ride them out. Don't compare yourself to others, you are unique and an individual. Have some fun with this new journey you are on, don’t beat yourself up. Don’t ever give up, instead, reach out. That is what we are all here for.
It gets better, one day at a time. I think of daily food control like a book. One page (day)is not very thick, hardly seems worth the effort, but when you close the book the thickness of all the pages (days) together really have an impact. It is up to you to decide if the story is a good one.
You are going to fly. Just spread those wings and start flapping! emoticon
