Hi there. This is my second, or perhaps 3rd, time on SP. My last attempt went a little like this: Got on site, created page, tracked for 2 days, abandoned site, tried to get back on, forgot password, apparently closed out email that username was tied too, and then started new page with new username. SO .. hello again SP'ers.
My goal is simple. I want to lose weight. Specifically - 92lbs. Why do I want to lose weight? I want to be healthy, for me, for husband, and for our future children. There are a host of things I want to avoid by losing this weight before I become preggers, but I really just want to be alive as long as possible for those would be kids and to be able to actually partake in their childhood.
And yes, ok.. I want to look HOT! I want to rock skinny jeans without looking like I have two stuffed sausages for legs…with potato like feet stuffed into my (rockin) heels. I want to bid adieu to my cankles. I want to wear a bra without it leaving scars on my shoulders, and tee shirts without the inevitable back rolls. I want to be able to buy underwear that can't double as a sail. Or a bra in which, when left on the floor, the cat won't be able to curl up in the cup and take a nap. Yes. That really happened. I want to lessen the amount of Spanx in my life. And while I am adding to the list, how great would it be to walk a couple blocks and not look like I just finished a marathon... on the sun… ('cause you know, I get really red and sweaty... ok not my best metaphor...).
So, for all these reasons and more I am here. And will actually continue to be here to the end. It’s far time I set a goal and actually finished it.

My Goals:
To live a healthy, sexy, active life for the next 50 years or so...I say 50 because once I am in my 80's all bets are off. Its booze and fettuccine alfredo 24/7 after that.
I have always had this desire to run. Usually that goes away after an hour or so in my pjs on the couch watching Storage Wars, but the desire is there.
I also like the idea that if in fact a Zombie apocalypse did occur, I could actually stand a chance of running away and surviving for a bit. Something to work toward...


My Program:
Eat less junk. Move more.

Specifically
* Add more fruits and veggies to my life, lessen the amount of fried cheesey stuff.
* Stay within calorie range. (Under 1600)
* Work out - at least 45 minutes cardio - 4 times a week.
* Drink less coffee.. and more water.




Personal Information:
I live in KC with my ridiculously amazing husband, way too many pairs of shoes, one stinky (but oh so cute) dog, and 2 cats that I am pretty sure are planning my demise.
