Shedding the fat and firming up
I have been on spark for 4..or is 5 years now..a little disappointing considering I haven't managed to reach my goal of 116 pounds. I initially started out at 142 pounds and am currently sitting at 124 so its not like I have been sitting idle...I just haven't been as committed as I probably should have. UPDATE: I am over caring about the number on the scale..I went from being unhappy with things at 142 lbs to still not being satisfied with my body at 116 lbs. I have decided ...

I initially started out at 142 pounds and am currently sitting at 124 so its not like I have been sitting idle...I just haven't been as committed as I probably should have. UPDATE: I am over caring about the number on the scale..I went from being unhappy with things at 142 lbs to still not being satisfied with my body at 116 lbs. I have decided to get over the number and work on getting my body were it should be. I have come to the realization that cardio is not everything and being skinny is not enough. I want to be skinny but in a toned and firm kind of way, not a weak and frail looking way. I successfully completed 4 weeks of Jillian Michaels DVD's which made me so much stronger and I definitely lost some inches but I am not as committed to those as I was before so I have decided to switch it up to her Body Revolution program. UPDATE OCT 2012: I went through 7 weeks of Body Revolution and it was great for shedding some fat and building some light muscle, however I find that its difficult to build muscle following her program. I downloaded the 12 week bikini guide from the Get in Shape Girl and am officially starting tomorrow. Hopefully this will take me were I want to be!

My Goals:
Goal Body Fat percentage: 18% Current %: 24% I have decided to give up processed foods and try and stick to clean eating as much as possible starting July 9, 2012.
My Program:
I will be sticking between 1400-1550 cal per day. My excercise program consists of the GISG Bikini workout.

I am a 25 year old from Alberta, Canada. I have a full time career as and Admin Assistant for the Canadian Gov't. I was married in Cuba in 2009. My husband is a Powerline Technician and is away for 22 days a month which gives me plenty of time to hit the gym.
