6/30/12 - The juice fast went well, and I'm still juicing occasionally. I'm training for another 5k now after finishing my first last summer, and now the newest addition to my healthy living plan is Visalus. 6/30/12 - The juice fast went well, and I'm still juicing occasionally. I'm training for another 5k now after finishing my first last summer, and now the newest addition to my healthy living plan is Visalus. I'm blogging about my journey if you are interested. --------------- 1/14/12 - I was inspired by the documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead to use a 15-day juice fast as a way to temporarily 'reboot' my system, and permanently as a way to add more fruits and veggies into my daily routine. I'll share my journey here! --------------- 6/26/11 - I'm now a few months in and no longer feel like a 'beginner' to these healthy ways. I can't even believe that I'm still on track (because we're honest here, in case you are new). I really could be down 60lbs by Thanksgiving. Wow. Good stuff. --------------- 4/6/11 - I've just moved to a new city and realized I'm now heavier than I've ever been. I want my outlook and ambition to match the great opportunities all around me, and that means it is time for a change! I am a little nervous about making all this public, but hopefully we can all share our strengths and lessons for the good of the group. Let's do this!

----6/26/11---- * Have fun being healthy ---- 4/18/11 ---- * Do a yoga class like I belong there * Buy/ wear a pair of shorts * Buy/ wear a bathing suit * Lose the muffin top * Be able to shop at Banana Republic (size 14) ---- 4/6/11 ---- * 45 minutes of cardio non-stop -- DONE! * Finish a 5k -- DONE! * /Run/ a 5k * Have a BMI below 30 * Subconsciously smile at a full length mirror In summary, I hope to improve my self image
My Program:
---- 6/15/12 ---- Visalus- the shake mix that tastes like a cake mix! I'm replacing 2 meals a day and loving the results/ grocery savings. I'm trying to do it for 90 days (Sept 14th) ---- 1/14/12 ---- REBOOT Juice Fast! ---- 6/26/2011---- * Focusing on eating every 2 hours * Personal Trainer 2x/ wk ---- 4/18/11 (add) ---- * C25K!!!!! - DONE ---- 4/6/11 (original) ---- * Following the SparkPeople suggested calories and fitness * Eating 5-7 servings of fruits and veggies * Drinking at least 64oz of water each day * Taking advantage of fitness classes offered at my complex * Cardio at least 4x a week

I am radically loved by God, no matter my size, and my weight loss journey involves Him as much as any other area of my life.
