Thank you for checking on me. Everyone in the house was sick except me and then as the last of them returned to school/work I came down with it pretty nasty. Took me a while to get over the remaining coughing fits.
Now we are behind for family visits and it is our high birthday season. I need to be in 3 places for birthdays just this weekend. There were just about a birthday everyday this week. Mine was back on April 16th too. My two boys birthdays are next month in May so that will be busy planning and partying as well as finishing up school year for preschool, MOPS, Cub Scouts, grade school.
I'm still loosing weight!!!!! Down 20 lbs so far now. I miss spark people and haven't even logged in for I don't know how long. I hope to get back in business just as soon as the hype settles down. Hopefull I will not be entirely forgotten. It was a cheer to see your posts!
Thanks for commenting on my DVD Review blog. Jewel (the one on the two coaches behind Coach Nicole; on the right) will take several of the exercises and modify it to something a little easier version. For example, I'm all for a modified jumping jacks (without the jump) due to a bad knee.
Anytime you don't have the energy or comfort to keep up with what everyone is doing, try modifying on your own or simply marching or walking in place to keep your heart rate from going into "rest" mode, unless you truly think you need to rest. Exercise should never be an all or nothing routine . . . do what you can, while pushing yourself when you know you can, one step at a time.
